My dog Skipper, a 10 year old border collie mix, escaped on Friday. He normally comes right back home after chasing a deer or whatever animal he finds, but this time he didn’t come back. I called and called for him, and drove around the neighborhood looking for him. I even called the Animal Control office to see if someone had turned him in. No luck. He has a collar and license tags on for identification. I alerted my neighbors. On Sunday evening he appeared in my front yard, and a neighbor locked him back in the dog pen for me, since I was away at the time. I was very happy to get him back safe and sound. Skipper was tired and very hungry. I think he lost a few pounds during his weekend adventure.
