The people who gave up the cat, Sylvester, that I’ve had for 2 years, called me up out of the blue and asked to get him back in time for Christmas. They have kids, and it is Christmas, so I let them have him back. I hope he is well-treated. I miss him.
On a happier note, we all had a wonderful Christmas, and are looking forward to the New Year 2011!

He is a rescued cat (all my cats and dogs have been rescued) who needed a good home. Sylvester is gigantic (he must weigh 20 lbs!), and is settling right in. I’ll keep you posted as he adjusts to farm life.

The baby chicks in my garage are growing fast. Soon I’ll have to find a bigger box.
